The project aims to prevent the spread of coronavirus through behaviour change and mass campaigning among the Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim communities in Cox’s Bazar. Tackling COVID-19 requires a comprehensive package including preventive, protective and curative interventions. SOCIAL AiD likes to support gender-inclusive and socially inclusive responses in hygiene promotion. SOCIAL AiD recognize that people who are most marginalized minority group are worst affected, and ensure messaging reaches everyone minor group including others. Hygiene promotion initiatives will focus on communities (engagement with religious or other minority leaders where appropriate).
